Larry Dale Henbest
Larry Dale Henbest, age 74, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at his home.
He was born July 26, 1946, in Cassville, Missouri, the son of Roger and Clarice (Wooten) Henbest. On December 3, 1976, in Rolla, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Vicky Riley, who survives. Also surviving are one son, Dale Henbest of Republic, Missouri; one daughter, Jan Robidou and her husband Bruce of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Deanna Jenkins and her husband Jim of Springfield, Missouri; and three grandchildren, Duncan, Lucas and Meredith Robidou.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
Larry grew up and received his education in Cassville and was a 1964 graduate of Cassville High School. He was a life-long farmer, a brick mason and was pastor of Oak Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Cassville for twenty-one years. Larry enjoyed Southern Gospel music and was a concert promoter for several years. He loved his family, farm and church.
Funeral services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 24, 2020, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Bob Gaddis, Brother Larry Lovvorn and Brother Billie Chesshir conducted the services. Burial was at Horner Cemetery in Cassville.
The family received friends from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Sunday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
