Mitchell receives scholarship from MFA

Lindee Jayne Mitchell, a graduating senior at Cassville High School, has won a $2,000 MFA Foundation scholarship, awarded at the schoolís awards assembly. Mitchell is the child of Leah Thompson and Tony Mitchell and plans to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia. The scholarship is sponsored by MFA Agri Services in Cassville. About 330 will be presented through MFA and its affiliates this year.

Iowa State University announces spring 2020 Dean's List

More than 12,500 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester 2020 Dean's List. A local student recognized is Clayton Earl Schowe, of Cassville, who is in his fourth year of class and studying animal science. Students named to the Dean's List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 9 credit hours of graded course work.

Area student earns spot on Spring 2020 Semester Deanís List at UCM

The following local student has earned a spot on the University of Central Missouri Dean's List ó Audrie Jean Louise Thorpe, of Cassville. Each semester, the Dean's List is divided into two parts. The first list includes the names of students who have achieved a perfect 4.0 grade point average, and the second list includes the names of students who attained a grade point average of 3.50 to 3.99.

Ritchie makes Deanís List at Kennesaw State University

Matthew Ritchie, of Cassville, was named to Kennesaw State Universityís Deanís List for the Spring 2020 semester. Students named to the Deanís List were enrolled in at least 9 credit hours of courses and earned a grade point average of at least a 3.5.
