Clinton Ray “Clint” Clark
Clinton Ray “Clint” Clark, 71, of Exeter, passed away Friday, May 8, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Ark.
He was born Aug. 6, 1948, in Cassville, the son of Clent and Anna Mae (Anderson) Clark. On Nov. 28, 1969, he was united in marriage to Peggy Lemons, who preceded him in death on May 5, 2014. Also preceding him in death were his parents; one sister, Sandra Clark and one brother, Bud Thomas.
Survivors include: one son, Clifford Clark of Exeter; two daughters, Dorothy Hobbs and her husband Jeff of Exeter, and Terri Johnson and her husband David of Exeter; one brother, Jerry Clark of Cassville; four sisters, Sue Horn of Butterfield, Anna Epperly and her husband Mick of Shell Knob, Patsy Hattery of Racine, and Vicky McFarland of Cassville; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He grew up and received his education in Cassville where he graduated from high school. He received his associate degree in law enforcement from the Policy Academy and followed through with his continuing education. For seventeen years, he was director of maintenance and security for Exeter School. Throughout his career he was a police officer for Wheaton and Exeter and was a reserve Barry County Sheriff Deputy. He was a member of Mission Baptist Church in Washburn.
Services were held at Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Brother Dayton Brattin conduct the services. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.
