Exeter man celebrates 102

Clayton Montgomery, of Exeter, will be observing his 102nd birthday today (Wednesday) at the Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville. He served in World War II in the Medical Corps both in Hawaii and England. He was one of the first ever drafted in Barry County. He was drafted in April 1941. After the war, he farmed the old family farm place located between Wheaton and Exeter until he was 98 years old. Contributed photo
