Floyd Laverne Allison

Floyd Laverne Allison, 81, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020, at his home. He was born July 14, 1938, in Cassville, the son of James William “Bill” and Ruby (Hodge) Allison. On June 22, 1958, he was united in marriage to Patricia “Pat” House, who survives.

Additional survivors include: one son, David Allison and his wife Challie of Cassville; one daughter, Nancy Schneider and her husband Brad of St. Charles; two stepbrothers, Howard Nelson and his wife Carolyn of Exeter, wife Diane of Arizona; two step-sisters, Sue Panigay and her husband Bill of Michigan and Janell Sexton and her husband Garry of Arkansas; and five grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his parents; one son, Randell Lee Allison; his stepmother, Marie (Nelson) Allison; and one stepbrother, Danny Nelson.

He graduated from Southwest High School and had worked at Roaring River State Park, Vaisey Bristol and Garrett Manufacturing. He finished his career  as a self-employed salesman. He was a member of Cassville First Baptist Church for 62 years.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor James Weaver will conduct the services. Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.
