Patricia Mae “Pat” Coffman

Patricia Mae “Pat” Coffman, 86, of Golden, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2020, at Cassville Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cassville.

She was born Sept. 4, 1933, in St. Louis, the daughter of Roy Leon and Ida Mae (Howard) Arnold. On June 3, 1955, in University City, she was united in marriage to John D. Coffman, who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Daniel William Coffman and one brother, Roy Leon Arnold, Jr.

Survivors include: three sons, John Donaldson Coffman, Jr. and his wife Marci of Dittman, Scott Arnold Coffman of Nebraska and Michael Edward Coffman and his wife Tammy of Carlsbad, Calif.; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ralph and Jane Edwards of Chesterfield; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She received her education in Webster Groves, and received her Master’s degree at Washington University in St. Louis. For several years, she taught Spanish and Physical Education in schools in the City of St. Louis and Hazelwood. In 1997, she moved to Golden to make her home. She was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob. Memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 21, at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 24596 Highway 39, Shell Knob. Rev. Dr. Peggy Jo Wobbema will conduct the services.

Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob.
