SKITS holding auditions for spring comedy

Now is the chance to join the fun by putting on a production with Shell Knob in the Spotlight (SKITS). The group has chosen “Farce of Nature” as its next play. It takes place in Mayhew, Ark., at the finest little fishing lodge in the Ozarks, the Reel ‘Em Inn. This hilarious farce is guaranteed to be as fun to produce as it will be to watch. Auditions will take place Saturday, at 10 a.m. at Central Crossing Senior Center, located at 20801 YY-15 in Shell Knob. Both male and female adult roles are available. People do not have to have theatre or acting experience to audition, but having fun is required. Don’t want to act but want to join the group? It takes a village to put on a production, so come play along. No special talent needed. Performance dates are April 24-26. Anyone unable to make the audition but is interested in a part should contact Director Anne Hoffman at 417-665-5842.
