Woman hits bridge at Roaring River

Eagle Rock resident suffers minor injuries

An Eagle Rock woman was injured Sunday in a wreck at 9:35 a.m. on Highway 112 at Roaring River State Park. According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Mary James, 76, of Eagle Rock, was driving a 2008 Cadillac DTS eastbound when her vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck the bridge.

James suffered minor injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville.

She was wearing a safety device, and the vehicle sustained extensive damage.
