Alfred Vanetta Hayworth
Alfred Vanetta Hayworth, 91, of Washburn, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2019, at his sonís home in Washburn.
He was born Nov. 26, 1927, in Washburn, the son of James F. and Jessie P. (Vonstiers) Hayworth. On Sept. 28, 1948, in Bentonville, Ark., he was united in marriage to Lily May Cargile, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents; two brothers, Erwin Hohensee and Leonard Hayworth and three sisters, Geraldine Benham, Alva Loucille LeBlanc and Jean Harwick.
Survivors include: two sons, Jack Cargile and his wife Pat and James Hayworth and his wife Sharon, all of Washburn; two brothers, Jack Hayworth and Jimmie Hayworth, both of Washburn; one sister, Rosie Mae Walker of Wichita, Kan.; three granddaughters; and five great grandchildren.
He grew up and received his education in Washburn and attended Washburn Prairie School. He was a life-long resident of Washburn where he farmed and logged.
Graveside services were held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25, at Washburn Prairie Cemetery in Washburn, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Milford Baker conducted the services.
