Shelley Sparkman, 45, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 10, 2019, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
She was born June 6, 1974, in St. Louis, the daughter of Larry and Sherry (Davis) Leonard. On Oct. 10, 1998 in Ellisville, she was united in marriage to Gamon Sparkman, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Samantha and Lauren, of the home; one brother; Lance Leonard and his wife Sarah of St. Louis; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dave and Betty Sparkman of Cassville; one brother-in-law, Drew Sparkman and his wife Vanessa of Cassville.
She grew up and received her education in the St. Louis area, graduating from Lafayette High School. After high school she attended Southwest Baptist University receiving her Bachelorís Degree and later earned her Masterís Degree from Washington University. For 19 years, she worked at Cassville Public Schools as a teacher and counselor and also worked a short time at Aurora School. She was an active member of First Baptist Church in Cassville.
A Celebration of Life will be held from 10 a.m. until noon, Saturday, Oct. 19, at First Baptist Church in Cassville.
Arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
