David “Allen” Keeling
David “Allen” Keeling, 77, of Purdy, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at his home.
He was born April 11, 1942, in Purdy, the son of Oliver and Madge (Dinkins) Keeling. On Nov. 26, 1960, he married Leona Hutton, who survives.
Additional survivors include: three sons, David Keeling of Monett, Kevin Keeling and his wife Melanie of Monett, and Chris Keeling and his wife Kerry of Purdy; two daughters, Brenda McNeil and her husband Dwayne of Verona, and Kim Hammen and her husband Chris of Purdy; one brother, Dennis Keeling and his wife Sandy of Poplar Bluff; one sister-in-law, Eileen Keeling of Kankakee, Ill.; one brother-in-law, James Hutton and his wife Jennifer of Choctaw, Okla.; 23 grandchildren; two great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; one brother, John and one grandson.
He grew up and attended school in Purdy where he graduated from high school. All his life was spent in Barry County. He was a member of Longview Methodist Protestant Church in Purdy.
Services were held Thursday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Butterfield.
