Exeter pair injured in wreck
Woman arrested after vehicle hits fence, tree northwest of Exeter
Two people were injured and one was arrested Friday in a wreck at 11 p.m. on Farm Road 2165, two miles northwest of Exeter.
According to a Missouri State Highway patrol report, Tammy Stewart, 23, of Exeter, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Colorado westbound when her vehicle ran off the left side of the roadway and struck a fence and a tree.
Stewart and a passenger in the vehicle, a 16-year-old female, of Exeter, each suffered moderate injuries. Both were transported to Mercy Cassville Hospital.
Neither were wearing safety devices, and the vehicle was totaled.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol arrest report, Stewart was arrested at 11:50 p.m. on charges of felony DWI involving physical injury, failure to drive on the right half of the roadway and no seat belt. She was released to medical personnel at the hospital.
