Benny Dale Stanley
Benny Dale Stanley, 69, of Ridgley, passed away Friday, Aug. 30, 2019, at his home.
He was born Aug. 3, 1950, in Ridgley, the son of Ben Walter and Willadean (Robbins) Stanley, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were one brother, Ballard Stanley and a stepson, Oscar Morales.
Survivors include: five sons, Quinn Stanley of Stella, Scott Stanley of Monett, Dusty Stanley of Anderson, Ben Stanley of Cassville, and Kevin Stanley of Lawrence, Kan.; one daughter, Karri Berry of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Gail Eastep of Rogers, Ark.; two step-sons, Hector Morales and Sergio Morales all of Agua Prieta, Mexico; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
He received his education in Wheaton. Most of his life was spent in the Ridgley area except of eight years when he lived in Mexico. During the Vietnam War, he served three years in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Washburn and the Lions Club.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 14, at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Washburn. Brother Richard Jones will conduct the services.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
