Cassville to play just 6 home softball games

In just over 30 days, the softball season will kick off for the Cassville squad.

The Lady Wildcats battled through a youthful season of growing pains last year and are focused on making positive strides this season.

The team knows its path, as the 2019 season schedule has been released.

Cassville opens the campaign with three consecutive road games at Nevada, Sept. 3; at Neosho, Sept. 5; and at Logan-Rogersville, Sept. 10.

The home opener for the girls is not until Sept. 12 against Lamar.

Two days later, Cassville heads to the Reeds Spring Tournament.

Marshfield comes calling on Sept. 16 and a road trip to Monett follows on Sept. 17 before concluding a busy week with a home match with McDonald County on Sept. 19 and the Branson Tournament on Sept. 20 and 21.

Cassville returns home on Sept. 23 to play Seymour before hitting the road for two games at East Newton, Sept. 25 and at Reeds Spring, Oct. 1.

A home game with Aurora awaits on Oct. 3. Before a slew of road games takes place.

The Lady Wildcats head to the Springfield Tournament on Oct. 4 and 5 and then Nixa on Oct. 7.

The final home game is set for Oct. 10 with Seneca before the regular season concludes with a road trip to Joplin on Oct. 14.
