Larry Robert Taylor
Larry Robert Taylor, 73, of Shell Knob, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Feb. 25, 1946, in Wichita, Kan., the son of Lawrence and Beulah May (Powell) Taylor. On Feb. 14, 1970, he was united in marriage to Debra LaFever, who survives.
Additional survivors include: his step-mother, Willie Taylor of Newton, Kan.; one daughter, Tiffany Scott of Fall Creek, Wis.; one half-brother, Johnny Ray Taylor of Topeka, Kan.; one brother-in-law, Clark LaFever and his wife Marie of Lawrence, Kan.; two half-sisters, Shelly Taylor of Newton, Kan., and Bev Hentzen of Tulsa, Okla.; and one granddaughter.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one half-brother, Jimmie Taylor.
He grew up and received his education in Hayesville, Kan., where he graduated high school. For many years he worked for Boeing Aircraft. He moved to Shell Knob in 2007.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at Benton Cemetery in Benton, Kan., under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon on Tuesday at Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob.
