Patrick McLean, 90, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2019, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.
He was born on May 14, 1929, in Long Beach, Calif., the son of Neil and Agnes (Rigney) McLean. On April 4, 1965, he was united in marriage to Joyce Jacobs, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents and three sisters.
Survivors include: one son, Jon McLean of Cassville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Mickey McLean of Garden Grove, Calif.; and one sister, Joan Dressier of Laguna Woods, Calif.
He grew up and received his education in Long Beach, Calif., where he graduated from high school. On Nov. 23, 1950, he was drafted into the U.S. Army, serving until October 1952, during the Korean War. For many years he worked for the City of Long Beach in the Parks Department, retiring in 1979. After his retirement he moved to Cassville.
Graveside services were held Friday, July 12, at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cassville, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Pastor Jeff Fugitt conducted the services.
