On Saturday, people came together at the Southwest ballfields to play games, eat food, listen to music and watch fireworks in an event hosted by the Mission Baptist Church.

Favorite things to get on a beautiful hot summer day may include ice cream, getting in water and making new friends, but donít forget about face painting. Ezekiel Phillips, 3, got his face painted at the Freedom Celebration at the Southwest ballfields on Saturday.
