Lowell D. Nance, 83, of Cassville, passed away Thursday, May 23, 2019, at Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas in Rogers.
He was born Jan. 19, 1936, in Golden, the son of Raymond and Gladys L. (Stiles) Nance. On Aug. 24, 1956, in Jenkins, at Shiloah Baptist Church, he was united in marriage to Lois “Alberta” Call, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one brother, Rodney Nance and his wife Mabel of Berryville, Ark.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother, Carl.
He was a 1954 graduate of Cassville High School and spent most of his life in Barry County. He joined the U.S. Army and was stationed for 16 months in Germany. After the service he worked for MoDOT in Jefferson City then Monett District 7 doing bridge repair and later was an Area Supervisor. He was a member of Pythagoras Masonic Lodge #383 and Abou Ben Adhem Shrine.
Services were held at Tuesday, May 28, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Ken West conducted the services. Burial with military honors was at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins.
