Ronald Eugene James, 75, of Exeter, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation Center in Cassville.
He was born Dec. 15, 1943, in Redding, Calif., the son of Donald and Mildred (Cline) James. On Aug. 12, 1967, he was united in marriage to Elaine Faultersack, who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents.
Survivors include: one son, Ronald James Jr. and his wife Laura of Oak Harbor, Wash.; one daughter, Gail Gooding and her husband Jon of Moses Lake, Wash.; one brother, Richard James of Oakdale, Calif.; two sisters, Beverly Asbill and her husband Sonny of Vian, Okla., and Yvonne Benge of Escalon, Calif.; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He grew up and received his education in California where he graduated from Oakdale High School. After high school he lived in Oregon then moved to Washington where he worked over 30 years for Weyerhaeuser. Around 14 years ago he moved to Exeter to make his home.
He was a member of Living Word Mission Church in Simco, where services were held Sunday. Pastor Billy Joe Gentry conducted the services.
Cremation arrangements were under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton.
