John Dixon, 65, of Shell Knob, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2019, at his home.
He was born Sept. 11, 1953, in Jerome, Idaho, the son of John Pritchett and Gertie Levone (Lewellan) Dixon. On Sept. 12, 2005, in Eureka Springs, Ark., he was united in marriage to Debra C. Dixson, who survives.
Additional survivors include: three sons, Brad Dixon of Indio, Calif., Robert Clark of San Diego, Calif., and Aaron Clark and his wife Amy of San Diego, Calif.; one daughter, Alex Koupal of Phoenix, Ariz.; one brother, Wally Dixon of Wendall, Idaho; two sisters, Reta Strout and Kay Bowcutt, both of Idaho and five grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents, one brother, Steve, and one sister, Valerie.
He grew up in Idaho and graduated from Wendell High School and then became a licensed mortician. For many years he was the owner and CEO of High Tech Irrigation. In April 2018, he moved to Shell Knob to make his home. He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Memorial services will be held June 22, in Palm Desert, Calif.
Cremation arrangements were under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Shell Knob.
