Hundreds of people took to the street Saturday at the annual Power of Pink walk/run, which benefits local woman battling breast cancer.

Skyla Zerfoss, 3, of Denver, Colo., enjoyed her pink balloon at the Power of Pink event Saturday while supporting her grandmother, Dalinda Densmore, who was one of the seven recipients of the fundraiser. Gene Robbins, of Exeter, served as auctioneer at the Power of Pink walk/run event Saturday at Wheaton City Park. The event raised $53,150.70 and each of the seven local women benefitting from the event received $7,592.96. Next year will be the 10th anniversary, and the theme will be 2020, Bring 10 in 10 and people are being asked to join the walk and bring 10 friends. Kyle Troutman/editor@cassville-democrat.com
