Faith Earle, 89, of Cassville, passed away on Friday, April 26, 2019, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville. She was born on Sept. 18, 1929, in Seymour, daughter of Charles and Fannie (Rippee) Foxworthy.
Upon graduating high school she moved to Cassville in 1947. On April 21, 1950, she was united in marriage to Grantham Earle in Rogers, Ark.; he preceded her in death on Nov. 18, 1997. She started working at Barry Electric Cooperative in 1949 and she retired after 54 years.
She was a pianist for several churches in the area including Antioch, Bible Baptist Church, Mt. Olive, Corinth and Emmanuel Baptist Church for over sixty years; this also included playing for funerals and revivals. In 1952, she was saved and baptized at First Baptist Church in Cassville.
Survivors include one brother, Paul Duane Foxworthy and his wife Jo Ella, of Tucson, Ariz.; sister in-law, Alberta Cannon, of Kissimmee, Fla.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Charles “Chuck” Foxworthy.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, with Johnie Hendrix and Pastor James Weaver officiating. Burial was at Antioch Cemetery in Cassville. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
