Ricky “Rick” Dean Swearingen

Ricky “Rick” Dean Swearingen, 60, of Cassville, passed away Monday, April 15, 2019, at his home.

He was born July 22, 1958, in Monett, the son of Dayton Lee and Barbara (Neely) Swearingen. Preceding him in death were his parents; one daughter, Sandra Sue Swearingen; one grandson, and one brother, Randy Swearingen.

Survivors include: one son, Ricky Swearingen and his wife Jessica of Cassville; two daughters, Angela Dawn Swearingen and her husband Donnie of Cassville and Cindy Ann Beck and her husband Shane of Cassville; the mother of his children, Teresa Swearingen; two brothers, Gary Swearingen and his wife Sara of Cassville and Terry Swearingen and his wife Debbie of Marionville; one sister, Teresa Addison and her husband Russell of Cassville; fourteen grandchildren; one great-grandson.

He grew up and spent all his life in Barry County. For several years he was owner and operator of Rick Swearingen and Son Logging before retiring. He had also been employed at Tyson and George’s. He was a member of Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville.

Services were held Saturday, April 20, at Corinth Baptist Church in Cassville under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at Horner Cemetery in Cassville.
