Ron Reed was hired as an economic director for Cassville in September.

Laughs, hugs, handshakes and stories were shared on March 26, during the going away party held for Ron Reed, Cassville economic director. Reed said the main reason he was willing to come out of retirement to help Cassville was because every part of Cassville, including Cassville schools, the Cassville Area Chamber of Commerce and the city of Cassville employees were all ready to make a change. Bill Shiveley, Cassville mayor, thanked Ron Reed, Cassville economic director, for his work in making sure Cassville was moving forward.
