Cindy Burnside, a Purdy fourth-grade teacher, prepared to donate blood on Wednesday during the blood drive organized by the student council and Community Blood Center of the Ozarks.

Purdy school with Community Blood Center of the Ozarks hosted a Blood drive on Wednesday. The goal for a community this size would be 30 people donating a day.
