Johnny J. Berry
Johnny J. Berry, 59, of Exeter, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Cox Hospital in Springfield. He was born on Sept. 23, 1959, son of Delmer and Betty (DeLong) Berry, in Aurora. He was engaged in the farming business, working in the hay fields.
Survivors include: two daughters, Becka Johnson and her husband Chad, of Eagle Rock, and Reanna Berry, of Exeter; his granddaughter, Blakely Bokor, of Eagle Rock; five brothers, James Berry and his wife Rose, of Cassville, Walter Berry and his wife Sherry, of Exeter, Ray Berry, of Galena, Troy Berry and his wife Donna, of Exeter, Emanuel Berry and his wife Dianna, of Purdy; and six sisters, Louise Moore and her husband Robert, of Butterfield, Betty Cotton and her husband Johnny, of Gateway, Ark., Ruby Orr and her husband David, of Cassville, Wilma Hile and her husband John, of Cassville, Neomi Truesdell and her husband Allen, of Odessa, and Florine Cotton and her husband Jimmy, of Cassville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Delmer “Gene” Berry.
Funeral services were held Thursday, March 21, at the United Methodist Church in Cassville, with Evangelist John Hile and Pastor Andy Lambel officiating. Burial was at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins.
