Honors abound for area hoopsters

Ozark 7 Conference names top hoops stars

The top athletes in the Ozark 7 Conference for the 2018-2019 basketball season were named last week.

Tori Goostree and Hallie Mitchell garnered First Team honors; Rachael Lacy, Second Team and Alyia Prewitt, Honorable Mention, for Wheaton.

Exeter’s Julia Grant collected First Team honors for the Lady Tigers.

On the boys’ side, Wheaton’s Klay Reed was named to the Honorable Mention squad.
