Bobbie James, 89, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Feb. 24, 2019, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville.
She was born Oct.5, 1929, in Mountain Home, Ark., the daughter of Wylo and Edith Dyer. On Oct. 1, 1950, she was united in marriage to John Edward James, who preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 2017. Also preceding her in death were her parents.
Survivors include: two sons, Don James and his wife Mary Lee of Kansas City, and John R “Bo” James and his wife Linda of Cassville; one sister Billie Denton of Shawnee, Kan., and one grandson, Ryan James, Captain of the Army Reserves in Columbia.
She grew up in Mountain Home, Ark., where she graduated from high school. As a young girl she helped her dad on the farm. In August of 1963 Bobbie and John moved to Cassville, and purchased their own auto parts store, where they worked together for many years. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 7, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
Memorials may be made to Shiners Hospital for Children in memory of Bobbie.
