Man charged for burglarizing home
40-year-old captured later after fleeing on foot
An Exeter man was arrested on Jan. 23 after allegedly kicking in the door of a Cassville home.
Jimmy Taylor Jr., 40, of Exeter, is charged with first-degree burglary and resisting arrest.
According to a probable cause report filed by Kyle Kuhn, deputy with the Barry County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor and an accomplice allegedly kicked in the door of a home on Highway 37. He fled on foot and was located on Jan. 23 at about 5:05 p.m. in the 1300 block of Ivey Street. He again fled and was apprehended near Presley and 14th streets.
Taylor allegedly has a history for theft of property. He is being held in the Barry County jail on a cash-only bond of $50,000.
