During the adult painting class at the Cassville Branch Library on Jan. 22, instructor Donna Lawson helped Catharina Kungl with her painting technique.

The Cassville Branch Library has offered an adult painting class once a month for two years, and participants pay only $5 when they sign up to help pay for supplies. The adult painting class offered through the Cassville Branch Library is a painting tutorial through paintingparties.com. The participants watch a video clip, then start painting. The instructor can assist, replay the video and explain tips and technique, but the painters paint at their pace and be creative.
