Sidney Skelton, 76, of Seligman, passed away Friday, Jan. 11, 2019, at his home.
He was born Dec. 25, 1942, in Beaver, Ark., the son of Jim and Florence (Bargay) Skelton. On Aug. 29, 1966, he was united in marriage to Sandra Ming, who survives.
Additional survivors include: one son, Jimmy Skelton and his wife Deanna of Seneca; two daughters, Pam Broyles of Bentonville, Ark., and Paula Schroder and her husband Thomas of Rocky Comfort; four brothers, Harold Skelton and Darrell Skelton, both of Seligman, Steve Skelton of Tyler, Texas, and Johnny Skelton of Gateway, Ark.; three sisters, Kay Gautney of Seligman, and Jean Thomas and Nancy Chestnut, both of Bentonville, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; two sisters, Mary Jane Douglas and Debbie Skelton and one brother, Larry Skelton.
He received his education in Eagle Rock. He spent much of his life in Seligman, where he was a cattle and chicken farmer. He was of the Baptist faith.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Cremation arrangements are under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
