Children still learning on break

Children spend time in the library to play games, read and learn, even though they are still out of school from holiday break. From front to back, Molly Cox, 8, Chaney Cox, 13, and Hale Cox, 8, all of Cassville, were at the library on Friday with their grandmother, Lindy Gibson, while Kolton Lingo, 9, of Cassville enjoyed some screen time while making new friends at the Cassville Public Library. Libraries are fun for adults too, and the Cassville Public Library has a display of books to make 2019 a ‘New Year, Better You.’ Donna Lawson, adult services librarian, pulled resources from all of the 10 libraries in the Barry-Lawrence Regional Library System to help create this display. Lawson said today is the day for improvement, it doesn’t have to be the first day of the year. Jordan Privett/jprivett@cassville-democrat.com
