Jim Mandell

John 14:1, Jesus said “Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me.”

Jim Mandell, born in Chicago in 1935 and raised in Cassville, Missouri, went home to our Lord Tuesday, December 18, 2018. Jim was an Eagle Scout, a Sigma Chi member, an Army veteran, a Free Mason, a Shriner, a painter and, Holy Moly, the best danged pump salesman around during his remarkable 40-year career.

Jim is survived by his wife of 57 years Rachel Robinson Mandell; daughter, Rene Davis and husband Chris; daughter, Debbie Sofka and husband Wallace; son, James Mandell Jr., and wife Gina; son, Edward Mandell; grandchildren Shannon, Skye, Megan, Horace, Jay, Bella, Mary, and Melonee; and great-grandchildren, Grayson and Aria. He is also survived by his sisters Dorothy Alford and Evelyn Miller along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held January 19, 2019, 11:00 a.m. at 16311 Denise Terrace, Hockley, Texas 77447.
