Robert “Bob” Noland, 83, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, at his home.

He was born Aug. 8, 1935, in Chilhowee, the son of David “Jim” and Lena Mae (Phelps) Noland. On Sept. 4, 1954, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Rae Falke, who preceded him in death. To this union two sons were born. On Jan. 22, 1993, he married Joyce (Bennett) Dyer, she also preceded him in death. Surviving are: two sons, Dennis Noland and his wife Carolyn of Cassville, and Michael Noland and his wife Tracy of Joplin; two step-daughters, Robin King and her husband Mike of Springfield, and Jackie Ball and her husband Derrick of Lee’s Summit; one brother, Vernon Wayne Noland of Gladstone; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.

He attended schools in Chilhowee, Archie and then high school in Raytown. Most of his life was spent as a contractor, building houses. In 1973, he moved from Raytown to Cassville to make his home. He was saved in the Baptist Faith and attended Victory Baptist Church.

Services were held Friday, Dec. 28, at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Burial was at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.
