Cassville Merry Christmas candidates named

Cassville High School’s Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas candidates have been named. Freshman Brody Barbee, back left, is the son of Brian Barbee, of Cassville. He is involved in football, wrestling, debate, FTA, FCCLA, Recycling Club, and Student Council. Freshman Elizabeth Ray, front left, is the daughter of Curtis and Barbie Ray, of Cassville. She is involved in band, jazz band, Library Club, Interact Club, and FCA. She plays volleyball and attends the First Baptist Church of Cassville. Sophomore Jarrod Wallace, back left middle, is the son of Gary Wallace, of Cassville. He is involved in basketball, baseball, band, show choir band, Recycling Club, Game Club and church band. Sophomore Sadie Reuter, front left middle, is the daughter of Ben and Jayme Reuter, of Cassville. She is involved in volleyball, soccer, FCCLA, SADD and show choir. Junior Camron Sloan, back right middle, is the son of Jimmie and Talana Hinson, of Exeter. He is involved in FFA, speech and debate, band, jazz band, basketball, and soccer. Junior Taylor McDonald, front right middle, is the daughter of Steve and Tiffany Watkins, of Cassville. She is involved in FTA, FCCLA, the Gateway Program, and is the manager of the middle school cheer squad. Senior Evan Kessinger, back right, is the son of Derek and Danielle Henry, of Cassville. He is involved in football, basketball, and baseball. Morgan Popanz is the daughter of James Popanz and Kristin Houston, of Cassville. She is involved in volleyball and FBLA. The Merry Christmas candidates will be working hard over the next few weeks to collect money to be donated to the Share Your Christmas organization. This organization provides Christmas gifts and needed items to area families who are in need. Coronation for Mr. and Miss Merry Christmas will take place in an assembly beginning at 12:05 p.m. on Dec. 21 in the high school gym. Contributed photo
