ODET arrests 2 in Cassville bust
Meth, paraphernalia allegedly located at residence
Two men were arrested on Oct. 10 as part of an Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team bust on Private Road 1141 in Cassville.
According to a press release from Chad Allison, commander of the Team, Charles Love, 32, and Andrew Edie, 38, both of Cassville, were arrested at the scene.
Edie is charged with resisting arrest and has a warrant in Benton County, Ark., for alleged cocaine trafficking. Love is charged with possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.
According to Allison, the Team and Barry County Sheriff’s Office deputies served the warrant on Oct. 10. Edie allegedly fled the scene on foot but was apprehended after a short foot pursuit.
Police allegedly found suspected methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.
Both men are being held in the Barry county jail on cash-only bonds of $30,000. Both have been arraigned and have disposition hearings on Oct. 18 at 8:30 a.m. in the courtroom of Judge Robert Foulke.
