School begins with open house in Purdy

A big part of starting school is feeling comfortable in a new environment. Kinleigh Rock, 4, settled in for a story with paraprofessional Annie Knight during open house on Thursday at Purdy Elementary School. Kinleigh, the daughter of Brittany Wise, will be starting preschool in the regular school building this fall prior to the opening of the new preschool in the storm shelter facility under construction across the driveway from the school entrance.
