Neosho man injured in Harley wreck

Vehicle runs off roadway, hits sign, ditch

A Neosho man was injured in a wreck at 9:05 a.m. Saturday on Highway 76, six miles north of Shell Knob.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Eric Augspurger, 60, of Neosho, was riding a 2005 Harley Davidson Softail eastbound when his vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a road sign and struck a ditch.

Augspurger suffered moderate injuries and was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.

He was wearing a safety device, and the Harley sustained minor damage.
