One person taken to hospital after crash

A Seligman woman was hospitalized following a wreck at Roaring River State Park on July 19.

According to a report filed with the Missouri State Park Rangers, Kenny Perry, 52, of Seligman, was driving a 1991 Mack truck southbound on Highway 112 and the vehicle lost its brakes going down the hill. His vehicle went off the left side of the highway, struck a group of trees, drove into the state park’s parking lot and overturned.

The truck struck a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, being driven by Brenda Glaze, 41, of Seligman, as it was pulling out of the parking lot, and a 2001 Hyundai Santa Fe that was parked and had no occupants.

Glaze was transported to Mercy Hospital in Cassville following the incident. Perry and a passenger in Glaze’s vehicle were not injured.
