Vehicle hits utility pole, embankment, overturns

Two Exeter residents were injured Friday in a wreck at 9:10 pm. on Highway 37, two miles south of Washburn.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Lisa Cahalan, 41, of Exeter, was driving a 2006 Ford F150 northbound when her vehicle ran off the roadway, struck a utility pole, struck an embankment, struck a tree and overturned.

Cahalan and a passenger in the vehicle, Eric Cahalan, 39, of Exeter, each suffered minor injuries. Both were subject to seek their own treatment.

Both were wearing safety devices, and the vehicle was totaled.
