Glenna Eileen Willhite
Glenna Eileen Willhite, 79, of Cassville, passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
She was born June 13, 1939, in Garfield, Ark., the daughter of James Arthur and Maxine Ruth (Slagle) Crider. On April 6, 1956, in Ridgley, she was united in marriage to Dale Monroe “Gabby” Willhite, Sr., who preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, James Lewis Crider.
Survivors include: four sons, Dale Monroe Willhite, Jr., Michael James Willhite, Timothy Wayne Willhite and Matthew Adam Willhite all of Alaska; two daughters, Tonella Herrmann and her husband Mark of Alaska and Tabetha Smith and her husband Mark of Wheaton; one brother, Steve Crider and his wife Linda of Washburn; three sisters, Rama Jo Coffer and Karen Garrett both of Ridgley, and Ronda Raynor and her husband Gary of Jenkins; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She attended schools in Ridgley, Leann and Aurora. For 20 years, she resided in Alaska, where she was a homemaker. In 1990, she moved back to Missouri.
She was a member of Ridgley Baptist Church, where services were held at Friday, July 6, under direction of McQueen Funeral Home in Wheaton. Pastor Tony Ball conducted the services. Burial was at Leann Cemetery in Leann.
