Purdy man injured in motorcycle wreck
Man rear-ended one mile north of Butterfield
A Purdy man was injured Saturday in a wreck at 10:25 a.m. on Highway 37, one mile north of Butterfield.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, Daniel Henry, 49, of Washburn, was driving 2016 Nissan Versa northbound and was slowing due to traffic when his vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2017 Triumph motorcycle, being driven by William Burch, 46, of Purdy.
Burch suffered moderate injuries and was transported by private vehicle to Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Henry was not injured.
Both were wearing safety devices. The motorcycle sustained extensive damage, and the Nissan sustained moderate damage.
