Arnhart hosts Independence Day bash with concert

An assembly line of food servers offered burgers, hot dogs and homemade desserts for the crowd gathered for the Independence Day celebration at Arnhart Baptist Church on Sunday.

Arnhart Baptist Church, east of Purdy, hosted an Independence Day celebration Sunday on the church grounds combined with a picnic and live music. The gospel ensemble New Road opened the evening with a concert in the packed church sanctuary. Providing vocals at front are Doug Clifton, Caleb Reavis and Nathan Terry.
