Group seeks tips on disappearance of Christene Nickle Seal
Members of the Barry-Lawrence Chapter of Crime Stoppers are currently profiling cases that remain unsolved and seeking information on the whereabouts of local felons.
This month, the Barry-Lawrence County Crime Stoppers Facebook page features six cases, one of which is seeking information concerning the disappearance of Christene Nickle Seal, of Verona.
Seal was at home with her young son after her husband went to work on the day she disappeared. A mail carrier found the boy crying at the door, looking for his mother. Her husband found only her pajamas and a light coat missing, in addition to his wife.
Seal disappeared from her home, located on Hwy. P in Verona, on June 19, 1972, and foul play is suspected.
Anyone with information regarding the disappearance or murder are urged to contact Barry-Lawrence County Crime Stoppers at 354-TIPS (8477) or 1-888-635-TIPS (8477).
Barry-Lawrence Chapter of Crime Stoppers offers rewards of up to $1,000 for tips that lead to the arrest and filing of charges for those wanted for felony crimes. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
