Arkansas man charged in vehicle theft
Suspect: 'I'll bring it back'
An Arkansas man is facing a felony charge after allegedly stealing a vehicle from a home in Shell Knob.
Wendell Dunbar, 38, of Berryville, Ark., is charged with first-degree tampering with a motor vehicle.
According to a probable cause report by Cody Stephens, deputy with the Barry County Sheriff's Office, the alleged crime took place at a residence on Kings River Road in Shell Knob.
Dunbar allegedly stole the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado, and when the victim ran out of the residence to stop him, Dunbar yelled, "I'll bring it back."
Dunbar is being held in the Barry County jail on a $20,000 bond. His initial appearance was scheduled for Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the courtroom of Judge Robert Foulke.
