Suspect allegedly bought alcohol for victim

A Cassville man is charged with a felony for allegedly abusing a victim sexually after buying alcohol for the victim.

Kristian Williams, 29, of Cassville, is charged with second-degree sexual abuse.

According to a probable cause statement filed by Det. Danny Boyd, with the Cassville Police Department, Williams allegedly bought alcohol for the victim and brought the victim to his residence.

Once the victim was intoxicated, he allegedly had the victim remove clothing and he began touching the victim.

The victim reported telling Williams several times to stop, but he continued. Williams has a prior conviction for sexual abuse in Bentonville, Ark., in July 2010.

Williams is being held in the Barry County jail on a cash-only bond of $7,500. He has been arraigned, and a disposition hearing is scheduled for June 26 at 8:30 a.m. in the courtroom of Judge Robert Foulke.
