Construction advancing on Purdy school, storm shelter

Construction is advancing on schedule on the new storm shelter/performing arts center/early childhood building on the west end of the Purdy school campus. Crews were busy this week installing ducts for the heating and air conditioning ceiling, seen as the cylinders at center, in the ceiling. Construction is advancing on schedule on the new storm shelter/performing arts center/early childhood building on the west end of the Purdy school campus.

Metal framing is now in place for the extension of the classroom building to the north and west of the FEMA shelter that will be the Purdy school districtís performing arts center. Pictured will be the main entrance off the parking lot. At far right will be the early childhood preschool.
