Aurora police capture suspect in vehicle reported stolen from Purdy
A Purdy woman has been charged after allegedly stealing a vehicle from a home in Purdy.
Rebecca Moore, 36, of Purdy, is charged with tampering with a motor vehicle.
According to a probable cause report filed by Alvin Zabala, deputy with the Barry County Sheriff's Office, a 2002 Dodge truck was stolen from a home on Farm Road 2090 in Purdy on May 30. Moore matched the description of the suspect and was found in possession of the allegedly stolen vehicle on South Elliot Street by Aurora police.
Moore is being held in the Barry County jail on a bond of $10,000. She has been arraigned, and a hearing was held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. in the courtroom of Judge Robert Foulke.
