Mercy SLS, Clark Center, hosts Mind-Body Event

The event was the result of a collaboration between the two entities. During the event, metabolic screenings were offered for the first 50 guests, along with blood pressure checks and emotional screenings. Mercy Hospital Cassville’s Senior Life Solutions Program Therapist Pamela Smith, MSW, LCSW, left; Program Director Susan Poehling; and Katherine Setzer, registered medical assistant, make themselves available to visitors and exchange materials during a Mind-Body Connection event Tuesday at the hospital. The program was a result of a collaboration between the SLS program and Clark Community Mental Health Center and offered resources, such as screenings, to help local residents focus on not only their physical health, but emotional and mental health.
