Dale Cledis Shepard, 65, of Golden, passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2018, in an auto accident west of Golden.
He was born Dec. 2, 1952, in Branson, the son of Cledis and Alice (Pride) Shepard. He was united in marriage to Virginia Forester who preceded him in death. Also preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, David and Wilbur.
Survivors include: one son, Kenny Dale Shepard and his wife Tasha of Golden; three brothers, Wendel Shepard and his wife Ruth and Ronnie Shepard, all of Shell Knob, and Tom Shepard and his wife Delaina of Golden; four sisters, Virginia Boykin of Aurora, Carol Greenhall of Tahlequah, Okla., Wanda Corning and her husband T.C. of Marshall, Ark., and Tina DeLong and her husband Robert of Lampe; four grandchildren; and one step-grandchild.
He graduated from high school in Marionville. He was an over the road truck driver for Tysonís, earning his one million mile accident-free certificate.
Graveside services were held Friday at Mars Hill Cemetery in Scholten, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
